Book and CD

My little book of poems, Seeing is Believing was written by Brendan Hawthorn, a local Black Country poet, he wrote the 7 in 7 during the challenge and completed it as we finished in London. He came to the house some weeks later and he commented to me that I would never inspire him to run upstairs, never mind run a marathon, but , what I had done was to inspire him in to writing a selection of poems, 7 in all, he called them Reflections. We spent a whole day reflecting back on the challenge, I tried to explain exactly how I felt through the week, pain, pleasure, what emotions ran through me , what was the experience like to run the challenge blind, Brendan made many notes, then he came back a week or so later , with what I can only say some wonderful words , I feel capturing my every feeling touched me sincerely. From this Debb introduced the photo's best suited to each poem and the result is a wonderful little book of captured feeling and pleasure. Brendan even went one step further, he wrote and composed a song, he has put them all , that is poems and song on a disc and can I say they sound brilliant, I do hope others will share my little book of poems.
